Mark & Janeen Wheeler
Lead Pastors
Mark and Janeen Wheeler have been the Pastors at Growing Faith Ministries since the Church started in October of 2019. The Wheelers were ordained by Christian International Asia in June 2003 and became Associate Pastors at Yomitan International Church in Okinawa, Japan, for 9 years while Mark was working for the US Air Force as a civilian employee. In 2013, Mark retired from his Civil Service Position and the Wheeler's stayed in Okinawa for two additional years as full time missionaries/associate pastors., ministering to American, Japanese and Filipino Christians in Okinawa. The Wheelers have also participated in and led several Medical and Dental Mission Trips in the Philippines, Cambodia and one to Columbia. The Wheelers retired and moved to Missouri in January of 2017 to help farm but answered God's call to pastor once again. Mark and Janeen have two sons, one daughter-in-law and two granddaughters.
Mitchell Kirby
Worship Leader
Born and raised in Troy Missouri, Mitchell has had a passion for worship since he was a teenager. After studying Pipe Organ at Wheaton College in Wheaton Illinois he moved back to Missouri and has been involved in full-time music ministry ever since. Throughout his life Mitchell has had the opportunity to serve at several churches and has always sought to foster a distraction-free environment of worship. He had the opportunity to join the staff of Growing Faith Ministries in June of 2021 and is excited to see what God has in store! Mitchell currently resides in St. Charles, Missouri.
Angel Johnson
Children's Ministries
Angel Johnson has been a member of Growing Faith since it began in 2019. Angel has been a teacher in early childhood and elementary education for 19 years. She has her teaching degree and certification in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education and a Masters in Education Administration. Angel had the opportunity to join the staff at Growing Faith Ministries on October 1, 2022. Angel is intentional in her faith and strives to follow God’s path in serving others. She is excited to assist in growing children in their faith and guiding them to be closer to God.
